This summer the Library & Archives welcomed California high school social science and history teachers as they participated in a continuing education course dedicated to teaching the history of Latin America during the cold War. Sponsored by the Center for Latin American Studies and the Center to Support Excellence in Teaching, the course offered teachers an opportunity to deepen their understanding of an important subject matter and to sharpen their pedagogical expertise. While at Hoover, teachers viewed and discussed primary resources from the early years of the Cuban Revolution, including photographs, newspapers and posters.
