Twelve recently digitized films promoting Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty are now available to stream on YouTube. The films, which range widely in duration and scope, date from the 1950s and 60s. Journalists Walter Cronkite, Andrzej Krzeczunowicz, and Lowell Thomas narrate the documentaries “Towers of Truth,” “This is Radio Free Europe,” and “Your Crusade for Freedom” respectively, while actor Luis van Rooten narrates “The Most Incredible Challenge.” See the playlist, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty records, on the Hoover Institution Library and Archives’ YouTube channel.
