The summer of 2018 has been a season of expanding scholarship, exhibitions, acquisitions, and publications at the Library & Archives. We have hosted conferences and workshops, including our first ever Silas Palmer Fellowship Conference, and have seen our curators and workshop participants publish groundbreaking books and articles based on research in our collections. Additionally, our current exhibition on Vietnam War-era photography continues to receive national and international attention, most recently in features published by The New York Times and Daily Mail.

As we move into our centennial year, we plan for a major renovation project that will ensure that the valuable collection material held at Hoover will be preserved for generations to come. We appreciate the support of our donors and patrons as we look forward to building state-of-the-art storage, digital imaging, and outreach facilities in coming years.

We send you best wishes for a happy fall.

Warm regards,

- Eric Wakin, Director
