Welcome to the Ambassador of Belgium!

This month Dirk Wouters (above, left), Belgian Ambassador to the United States, and Belgian consulate affiliate Wim Sohier (right) visited Hoover Tower. In Hoover's guest book, the ambassador wrote: "I feel humbled to be a guest and a visitor to this unique Institution, located on a unique place on our planet, and I will always remain grateful to American friends that their country liberated us not just once, but twice, to give us freedom in Belgium and in Europe. I was also very pleased and grateful to discover that the Institution has become an epicenter of knowledge on all the transformative moments of modern history."
