Hoover fellows participate in a Stanford workshop concerning cold war legacies and challenges, including communicating with unfree societies today

A. Ross Johnson, a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, adviser to the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) Archive Project at Hoover, senior adviser to the president of RFE/RL, and senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, was part of a panel discussion titled “Cold War Broadcasting–Aims, Impact, Lessons.” Hoover fellows George Shultz, Larry Diamond, and Abbas Milani were part of a panel discussion titled “Communicating to Unfree Societies Today.”
