The Heritage Foundation, the Hoover Institution, and the Common Sense Society will cosponsor the showing of the Firing Line program “Resolved: That the Senate Should Ratify the Proposed Panama Canal Treaties” featuring Ronald Reagan, William F. Buckley Jr., George Will, Patrick Buchanan, and others on Thursday, October 6, 2011. A panel discussion will follow the screening, with speakers Fred Barnes, executive editor at the Weekly Standard, and Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, moderated by Lee Edwards, distinguished fellow in conservative thought at the Heritage Foundation.
