The Hoover Institution's quarterly journal, The Hoover Digest, has been awarded four Gold Ink awards for editions printed in 2002 and 2003 by PrintMedia and Printing Impressions magazines, the competition's cosponsors.

The awards were a silver award for Digest number 3, 2002; a pewter award for Digest number 4, 2002; a pewter award for Digest number 1, 2003, and a bronze award for Digest number 2, 2003. All were in the category of scientific and technical journals.

Winners were honored on September 29 in Chicago during the Graph Expo 2003 trade show.

This year's Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from nearly 1,600 entries submitted within 40 categories. Winning pieces were chosen for their print quality, quality of color separations, technical difficulty, and overall visual effect.
