Visiting Fellow Mary Cox's Research on Hunger Featured in the New Yorker

The research of Hoover Visiting Fellow Mary E. Cox was recently featured in a New Yorker article by Adam Hochschild focused on the centenary of the First World War Armistice. Cox, an Oxford scholar who hosted the annual "Hunger Draws the Map" conference at Hoover last year, has used records at Hoover and European archives to study the dramatic toll of wartime food shortages on European children.
