In his new book Issues on My Mind, Hoover distinguished fellow George P. Shultz reflects on his experiences in public service, spanning three presidential administrations, as well as his continuing work in business and academia. The book highlights his policy prescriptions for six key issues: governance, the economy, energy, the war on drugs, diplomacy, and nuclear weapons. Secretary Shultz discussed his book this Thursday, September 12. You can watch the video of his lecture on the World Affairs Council website.
You can also preview the book and see an interview with Secretary Shultz on the Hoover Institution Press website, and read excerpts of the book in a seven-part series produced by Hoover’s Defining Ideas, the first of which can be found here.
