Taylor notes that QE1 and QE2 or easy money create little benefit for the increased risk of inflation or the increased risk of economic disruption when all the stimulus money is pulled out of the system. Haber and Victor Menaldo, a professor at the University of Washington, found that countries where rainfall averages between 50 and 100 centimeters (39.4 inches) a year are more likely to be democratic.
