George P. Shultz is honored by fellow Marines in a final salute to a man who embodied the Corps core values: Honor, courage and commitment.

George P. Shultz was a Hoover Institution distinguished fellow, beloved colleague, accomplished diplomat and policy maker, and one of only two people in US history to serve four different presidential cabinet post.

Shultz is celebrated by his wife, Charlotte Mailliard Shultz, the former chief of protocol for the state of California, whom he married in 1997; his five children, Margaret Ann Tilsworth, Kathleen Pratt Shultz Jorgensen, Peter Milton Shultz, Barbara Lennox Shultz White, and Alexander George Shultz; eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
