How to Apply

The application deadline is January 31. Candidates should submit a research proposal which includes a statement as to how they would fulfill the fellowship’s publication expectation (1,500 words maximum), a CV, a completed application form, and two letters of reference. Proposals should be free of jargon and directed to a wide academic audience. Fellowships will have been awarded by March 15.

The application period for the 2016-2017 National Fellows cycle is now closed. Please check back starting in November 2016 to apply for the 2017-2018 cycle. Thank you.
