About

Enrique Seira is a 2017–2018 W. Glenn Campbell and Rita Ricardo-Campbell National Fellow. 

Enrique’s interests lie in development economics, credit markets, violence, and, more recently, on political participation and the formation of norms. His research has appeared in the American Economic Review and the Quarterly Journal of Economics, among others.

He received his PhD in economics from Stanford University and is currently a professor of economics at ITAM, Mexico, and a JPAL affiliate researcher.
