About

Lindsey Chrismon is a veteran fellow for the academic year 2025-26 at the Hoover Institution.

Chrismon is the cofounder and CEO of Oply, an AI-powered home management platform helping homeowners predict, manage, and automate maintenance. A 2014 graduate of West Point and former first captain of the Corps of Cadets, she was responsible for leading the 4,400-member Corps, making her the fourth woman in the Academy’s history to hold this role. Following her commissioning as an Army aviator, she flew the AH-64 Apache before making history as the first woman selected to fly the AH-6M Little Bird in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. As an air mission commander, she led complex operations in Afghanistan, coordinating aircraft and special operations units in high-stakes missions.

After nearly a decade of service, Chrismon pursued her MBA at Harvard Business School, where she focused on entrepreneurship and technology. At HBS, she cofounded Oply, which leverages AI to fundamentally change how homeowners engage with maintenance, creating proactive systems to protect and grow the value of their homes. Beyond her startup, Chrismon is passionate about advancing responsible AI governance and ensuring startup perspectives are represented in policy conversations. She continues to serve as a voice bridging technology, policy, and national security.
