Nathaniel Hilger was National Fellow at the Hoover Institution for the 2016-2017 year. Hilger received his PhD in economics from Harvard University in 2013. He is an assistant professor in the economics department at Brown University and a Faculty Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research focuses on issues in education, social mobility, discrimination, and economic history.
