Hoover Institution Board of Overseers Chairman Herbert Hoover III and Hoover Institution Director John Raisian have announced the appointment of 13 new members to the Institution’s Board of Overseers.

Four members, who have served on the Board in the past, are:

Wendy H. Borcherdt President, Borcherdt & Associates
Lewis W. Coleman Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, NationsBanc Montgomery Securities
Walter E. Williams Professor of Economics, George Mason University

The new members, who are joining the Board for the first time, are:

James G. Gidwitz CEO & Chairman, Continental Materials Corp.
Michael W. Grebe CEO & Chairman, Foley & Lardner
Bruce W. Hart Senior Vice President, Dinwiddie Construction Company
Everett Hauck Chairman, New Lenox State Bank
Lila Jaeger Partner, Jaeger Vineyards
Mary Mochary President, Technopulp, Inc.
John G. Morris Principal, Morris Management Company
Charles B. Thornton Jr. President, Thornton Corporation

The Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace, Stanford University, is a world-renowned library and archives, and a unique center of scholarship and public policy research. Its Board of Overseers is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and financial health of the Hoover Institution.
